This year's season opening ride
may have been our biggest ride yet! Thirty-two (32) bikes started out from our
staging area in Bridgewater. We were treated to a pleasant surprise as the
manager of the 99
Restaurant that we were parked near, treated us all to ice cold bottled
water to start of our ride. It was a beautiful day, perfect for riding, and the
roads that our Road Captain Dick M. picked out were the same... beautiful and
perfect for riding! That Route 105 through Lakeville, MA is amazing as it twist
and dips it way through working farms and undeveloped woodlands. The service,
food, and company at the Kool Kone was as excellent as usual. (My new
favorite is the kale
soup!). The stop for lunch allowed us to get caught up with old friends and
also to make some new ones. Then it was more great back roads for the ride home.
We got back just before 2:00pm as planned. Thanks to all of you for coming out
and making it such a great ride!
